A school leaver is needed for a business selling and servicing excavation equipment and attachments. The position is in the parts and service division and involves helping out the parts dispatcher and aiding the service personal in the workshop. At least a restricted drivers licence is required.

You would be working with the warehouse team learning on the job. The employer is flexible around start date and you could finish current school year first.

1. JUNIOR TEC POSITION in an electrical business specialising in data, electrical, telephones, audio visual and sound. An example of their work is the digital signage in the library. You would be on a 90 day trial, they would need to find their own transport to Harewood for normal working hours (40hr week). You would need to be able to pass police vetting (as we often work on school sites) and drug testing if required.
2. SURVEY ASSISTANT – This is a full time position of interest to a person who enjoys the outdoors, technology, has an enquiring mind. You could do a qualification to become a Survey Technician.
School leaver required for a labouring position at an engineering firm. This job could lead to a mechanical engineering apprenticeship for the right person. You need to have a full driver’s licence and have a good work ethic of turning up on time, working hard, listening to and following instructions. 1. Signwriter: Must be friendly, confident, “can do” attitude, good at spelling, punctual, reliable and have at least restricted licence.
2. Drainlaying: Must be fit, energetic. Start as labourer.

A locally owned and operated fastening supply company are looking for school leavers to work as part of their warehouse distribution team. You must be eager to learn and have an excellent work ethic. An interest or experience with mechanics, metalwork or technology would be of benefit however not essential. A car dealership has a vacancy for Junior Parts Advisor – this full-time role would suit a school leaver with an interest in the automotive industry, experience is not essential. Mainly duties will involve sorting freight, invoicing/receipting of payments and providing great customer service face to face but mainly over the telephone. Full training will be provided and the possibility of progression as experience increases.
