APPRENTICESHIP IN METAL FABRICATION

A local designer and manufacturer of water craft (jet boats, yachts, dive tenders, small fishing craft) is wanting to employ a school leaver for a 4 year apprenticeship in metal fabrication. Learn the wool buying and valuing trade

An entry level position is available at a Yaldhurst business. They are looking for a Year 13 school leaver who is reliable, able to fit in with a small team, physically fit and able to lift. There is a lot of variety in the job including some office work like responding to emails and also accompanying staff in the country to collect and price wool. Two Apprenticeships available

1. Signwriter: Must be friendly, confident, “can do” attitude, good at spelling, punctual, reliable and have at least restricted licence.
2. Drainlaying: Must be fit, energetic. Start as labourer.

FULL TIME POSITION: Painting Apprenticeship

Possible painting apprenticeship for right person. You need to have a genuine passion for painting, driving licence, use initiative, eye for detail and mature attitude. This is for a high end painting business. They will want you to come for a day’s work experience first before they take you on. Please see Mrs Sinclair in F1 Careers Office if interested.

Part-time hairdressing job leading to full time Apprenticship next year

This position in Merivale is part-time (after school, Saturdays and school holidays) in the interim progressing to a full-time Apprenticeship position at the end of the school year. Suitable for a Year 12 or Year 13 student who has initiative, is highly motivated, well groomed with personality plus and can work in a team. ETCO Electrical Apprenticeships

ETCO (The Electrical Training Company Ltd) recruits students straight from school who are interested in a career as an electrician. They place you with an employer as an apprentice. You earn while you learn on the job and at offsite training sessions. It takes about 3½ years to reach electrical registration and all without the need for a student loan. Vacancy for a school leaver to join a small friendly team and train on the job with varied work. Business is located in central city area. You need good communication skills, a drivers licence and the ability to work in a team.

Full_Time Labouring position with a Landscape Company

A small landscape company is looking for a school leaver to work initially in a labouring position with the possibility of an apprenticeship for the right person.
